It’s hard to believe that Chloe and I have been working together for almost 7 years now. She has and is developing into a truly wonderful music artist with a real drive to approach her music in the way she wants to and a passion for all things music. Love, Life & Lies is Chloe’s latest and possibly greatest album, it’s certainly been a worthwhile and memorable journey for all involved in the project. Here are some words from that lady of the moment…
For the past 18 months or I have been swept up and hurled around by a tornado of music, work and family commitments; whether it be being with recording, performing, producing, studying or moving house, all of this has been happening to the backdrop of a global health crisis and a financial emergency that has crippled the economy.
What's been utterly brilliant though is that beneath and behind all of this I have managed to keep music as my main focus. I have had the privilege of working with an incredible array of musical artists, ranging from operatic singers like Gabriella Pineda-Rodrigues to garage punk-rockers like The Morphics. It has been truly marvellous to have been working with musicians of quality such as Jay Naylor, Chloe Lorentzen, Thomas Dunleavey, Port Rise and Opaque.
This issue of Drip Dry news has been a long time in the making, I hope you enjoy reading about some of our recent sonic escapades; it’s been a heck of a ride! Cheers, Benny :Ox.

I think if I didn’t have music I would well and truly be stuffed! And thank the heavens for things like Zoom & Audiomovers, these incredible applications have basically kept me in business which in turn has allowed me to carry on supporting and helping others with their music.
I had some extra good fun with my friend Henry Birkett and his fellows, Jayden (bad-ass bass guitarist) and Mario (super powered drummer) recently. We tracked drums for his latest single and boy it sounds good. We had 16 microphones up and about the rooms and tried out some new mic techniques which worked a treat. Man that Supraphonic snare sounded HUGE! We are all eagerly awaiting the songs release.
Check out Henry’s music here - https://henrybirkett.bandcamp.com/.
I have not released a track, a proper track that is, for over 9 years! The starting a family and running a business thing has gotten in the way somewhat. You would think that because I am working in a recording studio 24/7 it would be a doddle, but truth is, it just hasn’t been! One thing that this world-changing health crisis has done though is allow me to focus more on me, my family, my children, my garden and my music. I hope you enjoy ‘Cloud Seeder’ which is part of my new upcoming E.P. It’s available to buy on Bandcamp right now.
Opaque have released their brand new E.P on Drip Dry, “Seems Ridiculous'“.
It's a wee bit random and totally unexpected; we were contacted by a producer at ITV this week asking Drip Dry/Beat This to host an informal audition for The VOICE UK at Chime Creation Centre! Yes they are coming to Peterborough in search of singers for their TV show!
THE VOICE ARE COMING TO CHIME CREATION CENTRE, UNIT A THE COURTYARD, NORFOLK ST. PETERBOROUGH, PE1 2NP
ON MONDAY 6TH MAY (BANK HOLIDAY) FROM 11:30AM - 1:30PM.
They heard some of the music coming out on the label (Drip Dry) and were really impressed with the high standard of material being written and performed by clearly a very talented bunch of musical artists living in an around Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.
We like to call Drip Dry a non-genre specific label, we record, mix and produce anything from rap and grime to folk, rock opera and thrash metal! - you name it, we do it. We are all about developing artists and giving them a push in the right direction, so although this is a little out of our 'zone' the studio owners, Beat This and ourselves thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to say YES and host the auditions as we feel that it could potentially help some singers along on their musical pathway and spread the word out this amazing Community Music space called Chime.
So if you or anyone you know would like to take part in the VOICE please read the poster below carefully, you will have to contact paige.howard@itv.com to book your place.
Her latest single, “My Time” has been entered into the Sound Cloud Song Academy competition. We were really pleased how this song turned out, go and vote for it now and help Chloe on her way to higher heights.
One of my latest recordings/productions. We recorded the whole song in about 2 hours at Chime Creation Centre, then KOXE let me go to town on the production, had some real fun with it. Brilliant performances from James Koxe and Zakk Zoot Gray.
Great job on the video Mitch Brewster Media!
New productions coming soon from... Chloe Lorentzen, K.O.X.E, Henry Birkett & The Baby Seals, watch this page!

To find out how we all did, watch 'To Liechtenstein With Love'.
What a fantastic film! Feeling so grateful for the opportunity to be in such a remarkable and unique band of brothers, to go on such marvellous adventures and to be able to record the music that we make! Let's hope there is more coming from Opaque soon! Watch this one.

Happy Christmas to one and all from Drip Dry Productions. 2017 has been an absolutely marvellous year! We have come a really
long way with the studio at Chime in terms of developing the acoustics, designing a dedicated vocal booth and new live space, building up the equipment and recording some amazing artists such as The Baby Seals, Koxe, Walking On Mercury, John Taylor, Mr. Zed, Chloe Harrison, Thomas Dunleavey and many more. 2018 promises to be an even more magically musical year. See you on the flip-side people...
HAPPY 2018.
We have just finished recording Cambridgeshire based indie rock band Walking On Mercury's debut E.P "Aphelion". The band spent 2 full days in the studio @chimecentre tracking 5 songs (2-6 o the E.P) for their first extended release. We also helped the band with mastering and distributing it to all of the major online distribution channels. Great fun had by all and a great sound achieved, they are an awesome bunch of guys and were fantastic to work with. Why not take a look at the band's Facebook page to see what their up to, plenty of gigs coming up! @walkingonmercuryofficial

It's Election Day! Woohoo... I've been to vote, have you?? What a fitting time to introduce a fitting song from an excellent gentleman, Mr John Moore. John was one of the the first ever people I recorded back at the Glass Onion around 2006 back when I did not know what the heck I was doing in a recording studio. Well he still made it all sound great. This his latest single, "Hows That?" which conveys a very poignant message to all of humanity. Please give it a listen and support local musical artists. See you on the flip-side!
